My wife “made” me take new photos of our son after his 6 month’s birthday, a day before Christmas.

Today we went on a picnic and I took my new Panasonic lumix lx3. Glad I don’t have to drag my bulky dslr with me anymore, this camera allows me to photograph in RAW format with great results and I like the HD video feature for posting on youtube.

My baby son loves to be photographed and he is full of surprises. I love to snap photos of him when he smiles, touch his lip or his nose and he will start laughing.

I don’t have my own early infant photos but judging from this comparison Nikita has daddy’s nose and oval shaped head

First photos of my baby son. He was born just a couple of weeks ago on June 6, 2009.

Everyone asked me if I will take lots of pictures of Nikita, my wife told me to keep my camera handy at all times to capture the “kodak moment”.

The boy’s name Nikita \n(i)-ki-ta\ a variant of Nicholas (Greek), and the meaning of Nikita is “victorious people“.

This photo was taken in a bathtub, the front glass element got foggy and I added the “Graphic Pen” effect in Photoshop to get this unique look
